My role is to help you clarify your goals, find your unconscious competencies, use your known strengths with intention, and identify the steps to fulfilling your potential. In this coaching alliance, you:
 
  • develop & integrate new awareness;
  • take action & experiment with new behaviours;
  • observe the measure of successful outcomes;
  • sustain your vision through internalizing the coaching function.
 
Coaching typically makes use of in-person, phone and email contact, usually on a weekly basis over a pre-determined time period. This is negotiated to meet the leader's needs while maximizing the coaching opportunity.
 
An initial exploration of fit between the coach, the individual and the sponsoring organization, is the optimal starting point.
 
Coaching for professional development is best supported by a contract for a set number of hours over a predetermined time period: for example, weekly for three months.
 
Coaching for situation-specific needs calls for the briefer, more focused approach of my Just-in-Time Coaching package.
 
Conflict in the workplace is successfully addressed through Resolution Circles - a highly optimistic approach to difficult conversations and pervasive discord.
